For the next month Sophomore English will revolve around William Shakespeare! Shakespeare is quite possibly the most famous author of all time known for his many plays and sonnets. In his dramatic works, Shakespeare has provided insight into human nature. This is much the case in Shakespeare's Hamlet, which will be the first lesson in our Shakespeare unit.

Sophomore English is designed to give students their first look into British Literature while continuing to develop basic reading comprehension and writing skills. This is achieved with an emphasis on class discussion and written assignments but is also achieved through projects, group work and quizzes.
